View of the Badia a Passignano abbey

Tour overview:

A fantastic mountain bike tour throught the Chianti Classico hills with e-bikes. We’ll start the tour from the medieval town of San Casciano in Val di Pesa. Just a little bike setup and we are ready to go.
The first section in on a bike road along the Pesa river just to admire the Tuscany hills covered by trees and fields. A little climb to a secondary road brings us up to admire the first vineyard lines and the panoramic views.
At the top of it Badia a Passignano towers and walls will appear surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. As we reach the abbey we relax a little with an Italian expresso and a little walk around.  It’s now time to get back on the bikes toward one of the most spectacular vineyard of the area, the Tignanello farm, passing throught old villages, little churches all on secondary and dirt roads.
